Apple Fruit Roll Ups

This has to be one of the EASIEST ways to homestead wherever the heck you are!

All you need is a dehydrator -OR- and oven!

Go stock up on applesauce from the store, or learn how to make your own with sourced ingredients via my new cookbook that was recently released: Gluten Free No Added Sugar Desserts - and relive your 90’s fruit by the foot days without the harmful side effects 😉

If you don’t have a dehydrator, you can put your oven on 170 degrees Fahrenheit (aka the lowest it goes) & bake the fruit leather for hours and hours until it’s ready!

I baked these on dehydrator trays (there are so many to choose from online - I have some linked in my Amazon storefront to help!)

Once it was dehydrated (aka not sticky to the touch anymore), I then transferred it onto parchment paper. Make sure you get non bleached, well sourced paper 😉 that’s something I didn’t know I needed a few years ago!

I will admit - cutting the rolls in parchment was challenging for my hands - it will take a little elbow grease, but it’s not impossible.
