Our Food System is Hurting
It’s not hard to see what’s happening with our food system if we look a little closer.
A special note on the back of certain products now reads: “bioengineered ingredients” and many still throw it in their carts and carry on without even realizing what that means… artificial, manmade, chemically altered foods.
Eating these things increases your chances of being unhealthy and relying on medicines… and all that equals more money going to big pharma (who supports these companies financially). Shocking!
Don’t just take my word for it, check into the money trail yourself.
Proper nutrition isn’t taught, foods that serve your body are “banned” from being sold as true foods, and skills like feeding your own families are lost in the hustle and bustle of quick and easy meals or fast food lines.
Have you ever stopped to think - where do they source the foods you’re eating at those overpriced restaurants nowadays? If you haven’t, you should.
Children are getting sick with diseases that weren’t an issue years and years ago… why?
Many people are grossly overweight… why?
The rate of cancer has increased substantially despite the boatload of money being donated to research every single day.
Why?!?!?
We see the pattern here and we want to do better (and teach you how to have the skills to do the same).
Raising your own food allows you to know what it’s being fed and how it’s being treated. It humbles you and allows you to teach the next generation how to feed themselves. And honestly, it isn’t rocket science 😉
If that’s considered an act of rebellion - so be it!
Let’s get back to knowing where our food comes from, understanding the hard work required to provide for your family, and make sure our children really understand what it means to leave food on your plate at the end of a meal.
